I started painting when I retired in 2007. I hadn’t done any painting since I’d left school. I joined Ken Murray’s class and found that painting was addictive and very therapeutic, none more so than the past year when it’s been my saviour.
I mainly paint in acrylic but also like to use oils and coloured pencils. My main subjects which I love to paint are landscapes, particularly of places I’ve visited, animals and flowers.
