This started life as part of a collaborative Art Workshop and responds to a poem that included themes that fitted with the risk that world faces from climate change. The sources were a photograph of an American Nuclear test and William Blake’s Simonaic Pope.
Simony apparently means buying or selling of something spiritual or closely connected with the spiritual. Maybe here we have the results of selling the Climate rather than ecclesiastical office.
