Colin Barnett is a London born artist, who enjoys using charcoal and graphite to create thought provoking portraits.
His early influence is Ras Daniel Heartman, the rastafarian artist from the 70’s.
Practicing Architecture in the 90s has taught him the technical side of portraiture, which is his preferred subject matter.
Expressive, colorful Abstract Art has been a nemesis for Colin during his early Art career, due to his passion for pencilwork. Over recent years, the freedom and almost stress free mindset has encouraged a far more diverse addition to his portfolio.
